If you wish, you can purchase your own SSL certificate and replace it with the default certificate. <\/p>\n<p>Issue your new SSL certificate using the server hostname say &#8216;server.yourdomain.com&#8217; and place it under the <strong>configuration directory of Plesk<\/strong> located at &#8220;<strong>\/usr\/local\/psa\/admin\/conf\/<\/strong>&#8220;.<br \/>\nThe <strong>default certificate is named as &#8220;httpsd.pem&#8221;.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Name the new certificate as &#8220;httpsd-new.pem&#8221; <\/strong>and place it under the same configuration directory.<br \/>\nEdit the <strong>Plesk configuration file &#8220;httpsd.conf&#8221;<\/strong> and search for the following line:<\/p>\n<p><strong>SSLCertificateFile &#8220;\/usr\/local\/psa\/admin\/conf\/httpsd.pem&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>replace it with <\/p>\n<p>SSLCertificateFile &#8220;\/usr\/local\/psa\/admin\/conf\/httpsd-new.pem&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Save the file and restart the &#8216;psa&#8217; service:<\/p>\n<p><strong>service psa stop<br \/>\nservice psa start<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once done, access Plesk using the hostname as <strong>https:\/\/server.yourdomain.com:8443<\/strong>.
